Sumit David started his television career as an editor after working in graphic design at The Washington Post. His storytelling skills quickly enabled him to move into producing, directing and show running television shows for leading cable networks such as Discovery, Science Channel, TLC, DIY and Travel Channel. He was the executive producer for more than 100 hours of television programming. As the vice president for several production companies, he developed hit new shows, oversaw large and small staffs, and cultivated relationships in the media industry.
